Sierra Leone is a country which many don’t know much about, other than it being badly hit by the Ebola outbreak in 2014-2016. When She Went Wild and Street Child presented me with the opportunity to go there and film the marathon that Street Child have been organising for the past seven years, I just couldn’t turn it down.
On 14th and 15th March, I went to the Outdoor Industries Association annual conference at Shrigley Hall Hotel near Macclesfield. As far as a conference goes, it’s pretty varied – how many other conferences begin with activities such as a guided walk sponsored by Ordnance Survey, or mountain biking with a member of British Cycling?
Small Business Saturday is here again this year, and while most people associate it with retail and food businesses it can be harder for service based businesses like ours to join in. We aren’t able to offer the same one day sales or face to face interaction with the public, as our clients are other businesses. So how do we join in?

Going to Scotland is becoming an annual thing for us. While October is not particularly cold in England, it’s when the weather really changes in Scotland, so we didn’t really want to take a tent. A friend put me in touch with her friend, who by chance had just bought one.
